Wiped Film Stills

Pope Wiped Film Stills are currently offered in three basic models with differing evaporative surface.

Model size is based on the internal diameter of the evaporating column. Still components are typically made from borosilicate glass apart from the drive system (usually 316 stainless steel) and wiper blades (Teflon or ultra pure high temperature carbon).

Other materials are available on special order such as quartz, stainless steel and other metals for
the drive.

Pope Stills can be configured to efficiently achieve concentration/evaporation or molecular distillation.

Nutsche Filters/Dryers for High Purity Solids

Ultra-high purity, pharmaceutical and speciality solids are efficiently filtered, washed, agitated, re-slurried and dried in a single portable device, minimising contamination and exposure. Drying is aided by vacuum and optional heated surfaces. Reactions and particle size homogenisation are
also possible.

Pope Nutsche filter dryer vessels allow the withdrawal of dry filter cake utilising removable bottom head and filter support assembly.

Nutsche filters are available in 2 – 200 litre capacity, 5 – 200 Psi and -80 – 200°C.
