Fan circulated refrigerators offer an alternative, complementary, range of laboratory refrigerators for use where improved temperature stability and uniformity are necessary, and a sparkfree chamber is not essential. Internal circulation of the chamber air results in a more uniform temperature throughout coupled with more rapid recovery following door opening. Fan circulated models feature the same constructional features as their sparkfree counterparts however, although the circulating fans feature non sparking brushless motors, the presence of any electrical component within the chamber means that they cannot be guaranteed sparkfree throughout their operational lifetime.
However model RLSP1505 uniquely features fan air circulation but is also sparkfree; being designed with an externally mounted motor and shaft drive to the fan impellor.
