Magnetic Stirrers

Heidolph magnetic stirrers are designed for mixing of low-viscosity fluids and, depending on the application, they are able to mix and heat at the same time. Heidolph magnetic stirrers are designed with safety in mind. All models feature a hermetically sealed housing that protects the motor and PC boards from gas or liquid ingress. Depending on the model specified, independent safety circuits ensure that there is no unintentional heating or tampering with the temperature setting and a residual heat indicator in the digital display illuminates when the unit is turned off but the hotplate temperature is above 50^oC

General features of the MR range include 800 watts of heating power for fast heat up times to 300^oC, extremely scratch and chemical resistant 145 mm aluminium alloy hotplate with ceramic coating and heavy duty (powerful) stirring magnets.

A wide range of accessories including digital thermometers, heating baths and DrySin attachments allows the MR series to be used in a vast array of R & D an analytical situations.
