Our range of mantles offers a comprehensive solution to heating round bottom flasks. The heating element of the mantles is Nichrome wire in a woven glass fibre mat providing safe and efficient heating up to 450°C. The heating element is then insulated in a moulded silica layer and encased in steel with an attractive brushed finish.

The C-series mantles are uncontrolled and will function at maximum temperature unless used with an external controller (supplied separately).

The DM-series features an integral digital temperature controller linked to a sensor probe, which is inserted directly into the flask. The temperature is shown clearly on an LED display and the desired temperature is controlled by a simple push button potentiometer.

The ES-series rotamantles feature an integral magnetic stirrer, which is independently regulated. The stirrer speed may be varied from 100 to 1000 rpm and the temperature is controlled by an infinity bimetallic thermostat.

The E-series are energy-regulated all purpose heating mantles. The time proportional double pole system allows stable control of the heating element, reducing risk of overheating liquids.

The dial controller allows accurate temperature settings.

All mantles operate on 220v AC
