‘Andorra’ is a new development in small scale autoclave manufacture and the result of many year’s experience. ‘Andorra’ features technology usually associated with larger autoclaves. For multiple reactions that require multi-versions of four, eight or more autoclaves in series, the individual small autoclaves can be independently heated, cooled and controlled. Seals are largely eliminated thanks to the ingenious design of the autoclave cover, combined with magnetic stirrer drives which also provides all the valve connections, the pressure gauge and the pressure protection. The maximum operating temperature is 200°C and models are available with a pressure rating of 300 bar and 700 bar. ‘Andorra’ has a working volume of just 20 – 40 ml.
